A legacy for generations - past, present & future
Our existing Scout Hut is nearing 100 years old, having formerly been the Pavillion for the Potten End Tennis Club and courts that were on the site of the Village Hall & car park.
Whilst we have continued to try to maintain this building as best we can, the decline continues. Whilst generations of Scouts have "made do", we are reaching a critical inflection point where it no longer remains viable.
The Heart of Our Community Needs a New Home
For years, the 1st Potten End Scout Hut has been more than a building - it's been a hub for adventure, learning, and friendship for countless young people to develop as rounded individuals who support our local community. Sadly, our beloved hut is no longer fit for purpose and needs a complete rebuild. This isn't just about bricks and mortar. It's about providing a safe, inspiring space where the next generation of scouts in Potten End can truly thrive.
